Presently the owner and president of a film (live/animation) distribution company, Communica Films, Inc. The company has distributed such animation titles to the Japanese TV stations as American TV series, “Snoopy and Charley Brown”, Mr. Rene Laloux’s feature film, “Les Maitre du Temp” (The Time Master), King Feature Entertainment’s TV series, “Betty Boop”, and various shorts and TV series of Sanrio, a Japanese merchandizing company of “Kitty”.

As a member of ASIFA, later of ASIFA-Japan, and of the project committee of Hiroshima International Animation Festival, participated and worked consecutively for the Festival from the 4th Festival in 1992 onward, in charge of Daily Bulletin and later of the Educational Market.

1978 Founded Communica Films, Inc.

1974 Translator of English/Japanese. Helped Mr. Osamu Tezuka for his communication with his animation counterparts overseas.

1965 Joined Tokyo bureau of American news agency, United Press International as translator- cum- reporter.

1965 Graduated from College of Liberal Arts, International Christian University, Tokyo. Bachelor of Arts majored in the Humanities.
