PROFILE

Born in Yokohama in 1975, I am an animation director and producer, currently an associate professor in the Department of Information Media at Kanagawa Institute of Technology. I graduated from the Department of Imaging Arts at Tokyo Polytechnic University and the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) in Gifu Prefecture. I also completed a master's degree in Animation Course at the Royal College of Art in the UK.
In 2018, I founded Flicker Corporation, engaging in a wide range of activities including animation production, design, event planning for animation screenings and workshops, and serving as a part-time lecturer at universities and colleges. I am a member of the Japan Animation Association (JAA) and the Japan Society for Animation Studies (JSAS).
