→Aug. 4th, 2012 Exhibition of Naoyuki Tsuji’s Work from the Yoshie Imai Collection
As an experimental animator I also enjoy making flyers for events and I make them whenever I have occasion to. For 15 years Yoshie Imai has been kind enough to come and view my film screenings and exhibitions and has collected flyers relating to work, the fanzines (thin, homemade, photocopied books) that I used to make, the catalogue from my guerilla street exhibition (The Scrap Festival) and other materials. Imai will hold an exhibition of this collection at his recently opened “Picture Book Café” at Hiragana Shopping Street Art Space “To”. Though these objects cannot but appear out of place in the elaborately outfitted atmosphere of “To”, I hope you will come and view this exhibition that includes both my own creations and flyers from events in which I have taken part.
