International Animation Day 2007 in HIROSHIMA
during October - November
Special Screenings of the Award-winning Works of Hiroshima International Animation Festival
International Animation Day 2007 in HIROSHIMA will take place during October - November at the Hiroshima City Cinematographic and Audio-visual Library (Eizo Bunka Library) as well as at 8 community centers (kominkan) in each of the eight wards in Hiroshima. Organizers of the show include the Hiroshima International Animation Festival Organizing Committee and ASIFA-Japan who is co-organizing the Festival.
We hope that the show will be a starting point to promote HIROSHIMA 2008, the 12th International Animation Festival (August 7th - 11th, 2008), and will contribute more to the development of animation art.
Different programs will be shown at each one of the venues. Please enjoy the world's most excellent animation films from the collection of awarded works from the past Hiroshima Festivals.
