International Animation Day 2009 in HIROSHIMA during October - November
Special Screenings of the Award Winning Titles of Hiroshima International Animation Festival

International Animation Day 2009 in HIROSHIMA will take place during October - November at the Hiroshima City Cinematographic and Audio-visual Library (Eizo Bunka Library) as well as at 8 community centers (kominkan) in each of the eight wards in Hiroshima. Organizers of the show include the Hiroshima International Animation Festival Organizing Committee and ASIFA-Japan who is co-organizing the Festival.

Enjoy the world's most excellent animation films from the collection of awarded works from the past Hiroshima Festivals !
Also, this year, before the screening, all 8 community centers will be holding “Flip Book Workshop”, for about an hour, aimed for children. We hope as many children as possible will enjoy making your own Flip-Book, the basic of animation art !
